Location

Port View is located in the beautiful fishing port of Newlyn.  The property has uninterrupted outstanding views over the busy harbour and Mounts Bay to St Michael's Mount.

It  is within easy walking to the village shops and with the famous Newlyn Art Gallery, Newlyn Filmhouse, craft shops, local pubs and fine fish restaurants there is something for everyone.

You can also watch the fishing boats land and sell their fish on the market early in the morning.

The market town of Penzance is approximately 1 mile away, a lovely walk along the coast path and promenade. Here you will find shopping, historic buildings and architecture, cinema, restaurants, galleries, library, harbour, boat trips and the beautiful  Art Deco Jubilee Pool. It is here that you can catch the Scillonian on a day trip to the sub tropical Isles of Scilly.

There are many historic sites  such as Levant mine, Lanyon Quoit,  Chysauster,  Merry Maidens, Truro Cathedral and Tintagel.

Dotted around the coast are lovely beaches and hidden little coves for you to find and explore. Sennen, Porthcurno, St Ives, Gwithian and Marazion are very popular.

St Ives has a thriving artist community and is home to the Tate Gallery.

Mousehole 2miles, Marazion and St Michaels Mount 4 miles, St Ives 12 miles, Lands End 8 miles, Truro 30 miles, Falmouth 29 miles, Newquay  44miles and the Lizard peninsula 26 miles are all within 1 hours drive.

There are good rail and bus links and beautiful coastal path walks.
